DCANet provides both MySQL (version 3.23.53) and PostgreSQL (version 7.2.4) databases for use with customer websites. Command-line tools for database access are available via your website's shell account. Web-based management interfaces are also available as indicated below.

Database Server Hostnames:

PostgreSQL database users connect to the database host psql.dca.net using the command-line tool psql

MySQL database users connect to the database host mysql.dca.net using the command-line tool mysql

Web-Based Database Interfaces:

phpMyAdmin is available here:

http://myadmin.dca.net

phpPgAdmin is available here:

http://pgadmin.dca.net

These interfaces are configured to connect to mysql.dca.net, and psql.dca.net respectively. Users may use the username and password provided upon database setup to use these interfaces.
