DCANet - Services - Internet Access

DCANet provides three types of ethernet services for customers requiring multi-megabit, ethernet-based service.

Ethernet circuits are considered Premier Services, and are proactively monitored 24x7x365 by our local and experienced Technical Support staff.

Metro Ethernet: DCANet's Metro Ethernet service is provided along dedicated private fiber strands run from your location directly to DCANet. Metro Ethernet circuits are lit by DCANet and the physical circuit is dedicated entirely to your organization.
Switched Ethernet: Switched Ethernet Service (SES) is a business-class, fiber-based, multi-megabit offering utilizing Verizon's private fiber network to provide a virtual ethernet circuit between your location and DCANet. SES circuits start at 5Mbps, and can can be incrementally upgraded as your requirements increase up to speeds of 1Gbps.
Ethernet Over Copper: Ethernet Over Copper (EoC) is a business-class, copper-based, multi-megabit service offering speeds of 3, 5, 10, 15, or 20Mbps over the copper pairs traditionally used to provide T1 circuits. The prevalence of existing copper infrastructure makes Ethernet Over Copper the most aggressively-priced ethernet service, and allows us to provide multi-megabit connectivity to areas that may not be serviceable by fiber products.
